For families who have already built the tree
Give an existing ancestor profile a closer look.
A name and dates can hide a life. We examine the census and linked records already available for an identified person, then turn what they actually support into a short, readable update with notes your family can follow.
The inquiry is free. We confirm your tree and scope before paid work.
What you receive
A Profile Refresh is a focused written update, not an archival digital Legacy Profile or a promise of a new discovery. We label verified facts, family tradition, research leads, and unknowns separately.
How it works
01
Show us the existing person
Begin with a FamilySearch ID or a link to an Ancestry tree. We confirm the person and reviewable records before agreeing on the fixed scope. Do not upload private documents in the first form.
02
We examine the evidence
We review available census entries and linked sources, check identity and conflicts, and treat platform hints as leads. A record is never counted as inspected merely because a tree links to it.
03
You receive a useful update
A concise life summary, source notes, clear unknowns, and proposed corrections with reasons. Changes to a third-party tree require separate permission and human review.
One person
$129
Up to one hour for one eligible existing profile, including record review and the written update.
Ten people
$1,090
Ten eligible people on an already developed tree, up to ten total hours. Save $200 compared with ten individual refreshes.
Tree construction, deeper identity research, extensive newspaper searching, paid records, and public-tree edits are outside these fixed scopes. We estimate additional research at $125/hour and begin only with your approval.
Questions before you begin
Do I need a complete tree?
You need an already developed tree with identifiable people and reviewable records for the fixed-price refresh. If the line needs to be built or a person's identity is uncertain, we propose $125/hour research with an agreed stopping point.
Will you search newspapers and find new relatives?
Those can be valuable next steps, but they are not promised within a one-hour refresh. We can identify a research lead and quote deeper newspaper, relationship, or record work separately.
Will you change FamilySearch for me?
We can prepare source-based notes, discussion points, and correction proposals. Posting any change to a shared public tree is a separate, permissioned decision with human review. Kinthria is independent of FamilySearch and Ancestry.
What if records disagree?
We explain the disagreement and leave unresolved claims labeled as research leads or unknowns. The fixed scope is never a reason to invent a date or relationship.
What happens with ten people?
The $1,090 batch is for ten eligible people in a developed tree, with up to ten total hours. We check the starting people before quoting; complex cases receive an evidence note and a separate research proposal, not a silent extra charge.
Is this the full Legacy Profile?
No. The $895 Legacy Profile is a separate, deeper biography and archival presentation with a timeline, source trail, and editorial review within its agreed six-hour scope.
